Cian showed us his chrysalis which hatched into a monarch butterfly in our classroom. We watched it’s wings dry out and get strong and then he flew away.
We have been learning about the Life Cycle of a frog as part of our study about creatures that live in water. We watched tadpoles change into frogs.

On Friday the whole school enjoyed the St Joseph’s 500 races. We made wearable cars of all shapes and sizes and enjoyed parading and racing. Look at Room 10′s cool cars!

Last week Pfeifer and her brother Bryant were baptised at our junior school mass. We really enjoyed sharing this special occasion with the children and their families.
Today the young vinnies held a Freaky Friday fundraiser. We began the day with the whole school doing jump jam. Some people definitely looked freaky! What do you think?
Last week Room 10 competed in the school cross country at rugby park. We had lots of winners. Well done Adam, Regan, Lexie, Sarah, Te Ra and all the clever children. You should feel proud!
